Article & Photography  by Rick Russell 24-32 Making a video takes months of preparation: select the location and trails, invite a small group of local 4 wheelers, prepare vehicles, prepare camera and sound equipment, arrange transportation and lodging/camping for the video crew, conduct drivers' meetings, on-camera interviews, run the trail, repair vehicles and review footage each night. After a few days on the trail, Rick drives back to the office and begins 200-400 hours of studio editing in order to complete a video.
